Zeenat Aman: She was second runners up at the Miss India contest and went on to win the Miss Asia Pacific title in 1970, becoming the first Indian to do so. Post her win she joined Bollywood, working on movies such as Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Dharam Veer and Qurbani. She is considered the original diva of Bollywood.

Juhi Chawla won the Miss India Universe title in 1984 and went on to win the Best National Costume Award at the international competition. She was only 17 years old. Chawla then got into acting, and while she primarily worked in Bollywood projects she also acted in Bengali, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu films. She is the recipient of two Filmfare Awards. She has been praised for her comic timing and charismatic on-screen presence.

Aishwarya Rai needs no introduction at all. She won the Miss World title in 1994. She then ventured into Bollywood, where she met her husband Abhishek Bachchan. But forget being overshadowed by in-laws who are Bollywood royalty – she has come to be known in her own right as a Bollywood icon.

While Rai claimed the Miss World title in 1994, Sushmita Sen went on to take the Miss Universe crown that year. Sen has primarily worked in Bollywood films since that stint, but she has done some work in Bengali and Tamil films as well. Some of her movies are 2003’s ‘Samay – When Time Strikes’ and 2004’s ‘Main Hoon Na’.

In the same year, at the Miss Universe beauty pageant, she was among the top ten finalists. Dutta has worked in a number of films including ‘Horn Ok Please’ (2009) and ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ (2005). The actress has been in the limelight in the past year because of her allegations that Nana Patekar, who worked with her in the 2009 movie, sexually harassed her. These charges have been vehemently denied by Patekar.

Manushi Chillar was the winner of Miss World 2017 and has since been cast opposite Akshay Kumar for the movie ‘Prithviraj’. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, ‘Prithviraj’ is based on the life and heroism of the king Prithviraj Chauhan. It stars actor Kumar in the title role while Chillar will play the role of the Sanyogita, the love of his life. The release date has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Actress Pooja Batra shared a picture of her happy place on her Instagram profile on Tuesday and it has to do with the sun, sand and the beach. Pooja posted a throwback picture in which she can be seen flashing an ear-to-ear grin as she walks on the beach, dressed in a green outfit with white polka dots. The picture happens to be from Amanpulo, Philippines. The caption on her post read, "Nothing soothes the soul like a walk on the beach." She accompanied the post with the hashtags #Philippines, #archipelagos, #islands and #tbt.

Pooja Batra and her husband Nawab Shah celebrated their first wedding anniversary over the weekend by posting wishes for each other on social media. Pooja shared pictures from her wedding festivities and wrote: "A whole lifetime can lead to a moment. Happy 1st anniversary. July is for love."

Nawab Shah, in his anniversary post for Pooja wrote: "The universe gives each of our souls a twin, which is a reflection of our own souls, no matter how far apart these souls are separated, they will always find their way to one another. I love you Pooja. Happy anniversary."

Pooja began the week by posting a picture of herself with husband Nawab Shah at home and she wrote: "Life is a series of thousands of tiny miracles #mondaymotivation #selfie."

Pooja Batra has starred in films like Vishwavidhaata, Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye, Jodi No 1, Virasat, and Nayak to name a few. She was last seen in 2017 film Mirror Game.

Nushrat paired her outfit with stunning black sunglasses and a black hat. She also added stunning heels to her look. The actor's V-neck dress also showcased her decolletage. With the stunning background and a chopper ready, Nushrat was all good to go. 

On the work front, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in the film 83 along with husband Ranveer Singh. The film is directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Phantom Films, Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala. The trailer of the film is already making much news and viewers cant wait to see Singh-Padukone on the big screen once again.

Whereas, Nushrat Bharucha has been seen in films like Sonu Ke Tittu Ki Sweety, Dream Girl, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, and many more. Nushrat will next be seen in the film Chhalaang along with Rajkummar Rao. The film is directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg, and Bhushan Kumar. The trailer of the film is already making much news and viewers cant wait to see Nushrat on the big screen once again.
